Helene Frischer - Democrat, 2nd Congressional District

Helene Frischer, of St. Louis, was appointed by the Governor to the Commission on June 1, 2020, and confirmed by the Missouri Senate on August 5, 2020. She serves from the Second Congressional District, for a term through March 15, 2024.

Commissioner Frischer is the owner of Law Office of Helene Frischer in St Charles, Missouri. She has been practicing law in Missouri since 1994 and prior to that, practiced in Ohio. She received her Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from Drake University.

She is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, St. Charles County Bar Association and National Organization of Social Security Claimant Representatives.

Ms Frischer has served as chair of the Administrative Law Committee of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. She is also active in volunteering in her community. She serves on the board of Women’s Philanthropy and was on the leadership committee for an event hosting 1200 teens throughout North America and beyond for a week of athletic and other competition. She also chaired several projects for her local school district, including the Project Graduation fundraising effort to provide a drug and alcohol free high school graduation celebration and KidVote.

Ms. Frischer enjoys spending time with her family, including going on walks and traveling.
